We are always planning new and exciting fundraising events throughout the year, but these are a few of the public favorites!
Open House: Our annual kick-off serves as an appreciation event for all of the local businesses and community members who support us throughout the year. This is a great time to network and meet the board and committee members.
In Yer Face: This annual event is held at the fabulous MoKaBe’s on Grand. Community leaders, and some lucky lookie-loos, donate their faces to be pied by anyone willing to spend a few bucks. Spectators bid on pies made of whipped crème and the highest bidder (or group of bidders) gets to throw the pie. It’s messy good fun and is one of our most popular and profitable fundraisers.
Gypsy Fair: Clementine’s sponsors this annual event. You’ll find psychics, tarot card readers and lots of opportunities to win cash and prizes throughout the day. The date always coincides with the running of the Kentucky Derby.
1st Annual Royalty Pagent: Check back for details!!
Pride Day at Six Flags: Held on the second Sunday in June each year, this is the day that Six Flags St. Louis recognizes the GBLT community. Tickets are reasonably priced and are typically available through CheapTRX, MoKaBe’s, Left Bank Books, or online through this Web site.
Pride Days at Six Flags 2008 will be held on Sunday, June 8th.
PrideFest: Our biggest event of the year! PrideFest annually attracts 80,000-100,000 festival-goers from all around the country. Entertainment, vendors, lots of great food, and a fabulous parade on Sunday make this an event that you won’t want to miss. Please check out the festival page for more information.
